The Exumas, one of the Out Islands of the Bahamas, are an archipelago of 365 cays and islands, stretching from North Exuma to South Exuma. Ship Channel Cay, Allen's Cay and Highbourne Cay are North Exuma just 35 miles southeast of Nassau, 1 hour 15 minutes boat ride from Nassau.
Ship Channel Cay, a pristine private island is a hot spot to meet the cute piggies, feed the stingrays and watch sharks feeding show. Allen's Cay, surrounded by crystal clear turquoise water is inhabited by the Bahamian Rock Iguanas. They may look malice in the photos but the fact is, they are super friendly, super curious endangered reptiles. Highbourne Cay, a stylish Marina is another favorite spot to swim with nurse sharks in shallow water. Besides an up close view of mega yachts in the Marina, the beach is a great place to lounge and relax.
